Hello, my name is Clara Cook, and I have just graduated from Sharon High School; I am going to be a freshman at the University at Buffalo this fall. There, I will be studying cognitive neuroscience in order to eventually work in human factors. I also will be minoring in Spanish in the hopes of some day going to Spain to utilize my work.
Throughout high school, my favorite activities were participating in Model UN and playing Softball, and I will continue to play ball this summer as a pitcher and a shortstop. My favorite subjects have always been science and math, supporting my love of pipetting and problem solving. Biotechnology and its numerous opportunities to pipette has become one of my favorite subjects, one which I am truly excited to pursue and spend my time doing this summer. I am also a huge animal lover and have two dogs (Lottie and Dylan) and two cats (Cadpig and Clark).
